Keetsa started selling its mattresses in 2007 and offers both memory foam and innerspring mattress models. This review focuses on their memory foam options.
Some of the key strengths of the Keetsa memory foam mattresses include:
- Utilization of natural products: for customers who are interested in unique mattress construction that involves a higher percentage of naturally-derived materials, Keetsa is worth exploring. While it is hard to know how it affects the overall performance of the mattress, Keetsa’s mattress composition is definitely different from most of its competitors.
- Longer company track record: Keetsa has been selling mattresses since 2007, which may bring some comfort to shoppers who are worried about buying from other direct-to-consumer mattress companies, many of which are less than 3 years old.
Potential drawbacks for the Keetsa innerspring mattresses include:
- No sleep trial / free returns: Keetsa is one of the few direct-to-consumer mattress companies that does not offer no-risk returns. They don’t allow returns within the first 30 days, and all returns must be made within 90 days and require a 10% processing fee.
- Unknown foam specifications: while the company offers general information about their foam density, it does not meet the level of specificity offered by most competitors. This reduces our ability to effectively compare and evaluate their mattresses, all of which include several foam layers.
We also have a review for the Keetsa innerspring mattresses if you’d like to learn more about their other offerings.

About the Keetsa Memory Foam Mattresses
Keetsa Mattresses Specifications
Keetsa manufacturers 2 different models of memory foam mattresses. Details about their design and composition is listed in the table below.
Keetsa does not list detailed information about the full specifications of these mattresses. For example, the company does not disclose the densities of the foams used in the support or comfort layers. They state that the foams they use are “around 3 pound per cubic foot density,” but this is imprecise and may not represent the density of all the different foams used in their mattress. This makes it difficult to gauge the durability of the mattress, and it also makes it hard to comparison shop.

Keetsa mattresses are made in China.
Where to Buy
Keetsa mattresses are sold online through the company’s website, at 4 showrooms nationally, and through a number of other authorized online and brick-and-mortar retailers.
Sleep Trial / Refunds
Keetsa does not offer a sleep trial. If you find that the mattress is not to your liking, the company will work with you to offer modifications to its comfort layer.
The company requires that you use the mattress for 30 nights before initiating any returns, and you have up until 90 days to return the product if it is not to your liking. If you return the mattress, you will be charged a 10% return processing fee.
Please note that these policies apply only to mattresses purchased directly from Keetsa. If you purchase from a third party retailer, then your purchase would be subject to that retailer’s terms and conditions regarding returns.
Delivery is free to the contiguous U.S. states, and your mattress typically arrives 8-12 business days after an order is placed.
Your mattress will be compressed and placed in plastic packaging and then delivered to your doorstep in a box. Once the mattress is removed from that sealed bag, it will decompress and increase in size. It should be sleep-ready almost immediately, but it will take 1-3 days before it reaches its full size and firmness.
Delivery does not include any installation services or haul-away of your old mattress.
The Keetsa mattresses comes with a 12-year warranty and covers defects in material and workmanship. During this warranty period, Keetsa will repair or replace a mattress that is determined to be defective. You can find full warranty details at http://keetsa.com/support/warranty/.
Keetsa has a team of sleep consultants who work directly with customers to try to help with any issues. Overall, the company has a good reputation for customer service, has been in business for over a decade, and has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
It is important to remember, though, that depending on where the mattress is purchased, Keetsa may not provide direct customer service. Instead, service needs may be handled through the retailer who sells the mattress. Because of this, customers should purchase this mattress from a retailer that they are familiar with and that has a good reputation for customer service.
The two Keetsa memory foam mattresses have a design that is similar to most memory foam mattresses that are sold online. While there are some unique elements, its overall performance can be expected to parallel the many similar models available.
Memory foam mattresses provide support based on their response to pressure. By adjusting to the specific sleeper, memory foam — also known as viscoelastic foam — can contour to help relieve pressure points.
We have limited data about the long-term durability of the Keetsa memory foam mattresses. Without knowing the density of the foams used in the comfort layer of these mattresses, it is more difficult to address how well they will perform over time. If the foams are around 3 PCF density, then they may be more likely to sag or indent over the long haul.
Each mattress model from Keetsa is available in only one firmness option, and Keetsa does not list the ILD or PCF of their comfort layers. In general, these can be thought of as medium to medium-firm mattresses, but this perception of firmness can be very individualized and subjective.
Memory foam helps to prevent motion transfer and is typically a strong choice for people who are concerned about being disturbed in their sleep.
Keetsa’s products are manufactured with natural elements, which is a big selling point for some customers. But this can also be a drawback as there can be distinct smells from some of these materials, and the company has limited ability to control the level of scent. Though not harmful and likely to dissipate within a few days, smell-sensitive customers may want to be consider other options, especially because Keetsa does not offer full refunds on returns.
Memory foam can cause people to overheat when sleeping because the cradling effect of the foam can reduce airflow. In addition, as the foam gets warmer, the cradling effect is amplified, so some people find they sleep hotter as the night goes on. This isn’t a dealbreaker for most people, but those who are very concerned with sleeping hot may want to consider a mattress with a comfort layer of a different material (such as latex).
Memory foams sink when pressure is applied, and this causes some people to feel stuck in the mattress. Some people find that this disrupts sexual activity. A firmer model or a mattress made of latex or innerspring coils may be a better choice for consumers concerned about finding the optimal mattress for sex.
The table below provides a comparison of some mattresses with similarities to the Keetsa line of mattresses in terms of construction and feel.
