This type of crib can be transformed into a daybed. But before that, use the following steps first in assembling it as a crib:

Step 1: Remove the braces from the headend of the crib. These are the shipping braces used to protect it. Get M4 Hex Wrench that has already been provided and take of the two small M6 bolts that secure the shipping brace to the headend of the crib. After removing, set these braces aside. You will no longer need it.

Step 2: Now assemble the headend. Connect the right post part to the headend using the same M6 x 90mm bolts provided for you in step 1. Use the M4 hex wrench and the 9mm x 38mm Dowels to attach the right post. The sleeves in the post have to face inwards.

Step 3: Once you have assembled the head, you can now attach the sides of the crib. Connect the right crib side to the crib headends using M6 x 60mm bolts also provided for you. Secure it tightly using the hex wrench. The sleeves should also face inwards.

Step 4: Now put the mattress support. Remove the plastic ties but keep it so you can use it for storage. Now attach the sides using M6 x 16mm head hex bolts using the same hex wrench. You have to check the note in order to find the right position of the mattress support because the position will depend on the size of your baby.

Step 5: Attach feet of the crib to the footend. You can easily find the inserts at the bottom of the crib footend. Do not use a wrench or any other tool. Only use your hands to tighten it.

Step 6: Now connect the footend to the assembled crib. Use 4 M6 x 40mm bolts using the hex wrench to attach the footend to the assembled crib. Make sure the bolts are fastened tightly.

Step 1: Find the right side assembly of the crib and attach it securely to the headend assembly’s right side. Use only 2 of the M6 x 80mm bolts provided for you. Secure them tightly with the M4 hex wrench. There are left or right marks on the assembly so you should look for the right one. Do the same attachment to the left side assembly.

Step 2: Attach the mattress support assembly by removing the 4 plastic ties first. Afterwards, find the right mattress support position to the mattress assembly and then use the head hex bolts.

Step 3: Now attach the footend assembly to the assembly of the crib. Make sure you use M6 x 40mm bolts and use the hex wrench to secure them tightly.

Step 1: First, attach the front posts to the sides of the crib. Look for the right front post first and then attach it to its corresponding right side assembly. Use only the M6 x 40 mm bolts provided and use the M4 hex wrench to attach them tightly. Do the same step in attaching the left front post.

Step 2: Get the right head post and connect it to the headend assembly. Use the hex wrench and make sure the post sleeves are facing inwardly. Check the left and right mark for proper positioning. Do the same for the left head post.

Step 3: With the right assembly you did in Step 1, attach it to the headend assembly. Secure it with the hex wrench provided for you. Also check if the sleeves in its side posts are facing inwardly. Do the same for the left side assembly.

Step 4: Attach the mattress support. There are 3 positions for the mattress support depending on the size of your baby. Make sure you check out the note provided to know what mattress position is better.

Step 5: Attach the footend to the footend assembly.
