I would not recomend a lady englander my wife and I purchased a king and within 6 months it has caused terrible back aches every night. The bed looks like homer simpsons couch with the huge indentions. Worst mattress I’ve ever had.

I recently bought a tension ease. Am a little disappointed in its construction as the top and bottom mattress are off by more than 1 inch of each other. It appears to also fit more loosely than my older stearns and foster which fit my queen frame perfectly. I am a bit concerned about the quality now that I have it. I have felt a pop once or twice when getting in the bed. Time will tell.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Bought an Englander King mattress in mid March 2010. In April, I was trying to contact the store I bought it from – they went out of business. It took me several weeks to get a phone number to contact anyone. It’s now July and they finally contacted me. The mattress SAGS where we sleep. They said it doesn’t SAG ENOUGH to be a warranty problem and they think it is only a COMFORT problem. WHAT A WASTE OF $950.00!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

We bought an Englander mattress, and are experiencing the same problems with the sagging. I cannot turn over without having to lift myself out of the hole I’m in. It is the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. I wake up with the worse back ache every morning. I have slept on $500 mattress that were more comfortable than the $2200 we spent on this mattress. Will NEVER purchase this type of mattress again.

We bought an Englander mattress a couple of years ago, although it IS the best sleeping mattress (I have hip problems, and I can sleep in any position on it) it makes terrible creeking noises when we get in or out of bed. Very loud creeking noises. We had this mattress in a 2nd home so it was not used very often so although we have had it for a couple of years it was only used very little… maybe a total of 6 months of every day use. I wouldn’t buy another one unless Englander would replace this one. It really makes a lot of noise.

This mattress sags bad, when I make up the bed there is a mound in the middle, I will never buy another one.

I bought my first Englander mattress in Oct of 2008. I got a replacement in June/July of 2009 because the sides busted out. They game me a lesser model than I paid for, it was horrible and a piece of junk. I complained again in Oct and they gave me a “pillow top” mattress…which looked like better quality in the store. The first month or two was fine…now it sags and if 2 people are in the bed, it feels like i have to hold onto the side so i don’t roll into the other person. This morning I had to put alot of energy into just “turning over” in the bed…huge indentation of where you sleep. The 2nd and 3rd bed both have a loud creeking noise and also sounds like cardboard when you get out of the bed. My mom has had a bed for 8 years and it doesn’t sag one bit…I sleep on it once a year at christmas and it’s the best sleep i ever get…too bad she lives 800 miles away.
