Englander Mattress Reviews – Mattresses Relieving Body’s Ache And Pains
Suffice to say, mattress developed by Englander is much like any other brand in the market. It was built on the philosophy that every individual deserves a restful slumber after a stressful day. With the fast-paced lifestyle that many people lead these days, their only consolation is that, at the end of the day, they will get to lie down and relax on a really comfortable bed. The company’s product line boasts of optimum body support. It promises lesser back aches, more comfort and the best sleep experience. The mattress is designed to follow the contours of the body so that the user doesn’t have to toss and turn on the bed in search of a better sleep position.
But then again, this is also what other company’s claim for their products. It makes one wonder if all this is true or is it plain marketing hype. Is the Englander mattress everything that it claims? A look at two popular product designs that are available in the market will give you a better idea if this mattress brand is worth your time and money.
Lady Englander
The Lady Englander is getting favorable reviews because of the comfort that it offers the user. According to consumer reports, this particular design boasts of good engineering and seems to be made of quality materials. Englander is also available at a relatively cheaper price. Budget conscious consumers find it affordable for a product that provides impressive comfort and support. There are still some who find it a bit expensive mainly because they feel that they didn’t get their money’s worth on the product that they got.
The Lady Englander garnered its own share of complaints from consumers as well.
It seems that durability is not one of the mattress’ strong points. Many consumers complained that the mattress was comfortable for only a couple of years. After one or two years, it already started developing sags that diminished its comfort. There was the roll-off experience usually associated with wearing mattresses.
Tension Ease
Another popular product from the Englander company is the Tension Ease. It claims to relieve the body’s pressure points so that the user gets to experience a more comfortable slumber. The product design is aesthetically pleasing. Consumers believed that the product looked promising enough. Some even believe that it was well-made. It seems to be constructed from quality materials and the pocketed coil technology applied to it was impressive. It can also isolate motion.
Other than the few complaints about durability, consumers cannot really find anything bad to say about this particular product. It is relatively more affordable so it makes for a good choice for those who intend to stick to a budget when mattress shopping. This mattress is certainly raking in fairly good reviews.
On the whole, there’s still a lot room for improvement as far as durability is concerned. The Englander mattress is currently faced with the challenge of producing a product line that will offer comfort for longer than one or two years. For this, the product gets a score of 3.
Back from Englander Mattress to Best Mattress Reviews
I would not recomend a lady englander my wife and I purchased a king and within 6 months it has caused terrible back aches every night. The bed looks like homer simpsons couch with the huge indentions. Worst mattress I’ve ever had.
I recently bought a tension ease. Am a little disappointed in its construction as the top and bottom mattress are off by more than 1 inch of each other. It appears to also fit more loosely than my older stearns and foster which fit my queen frame perfectly. I am a bit concerned about the quality now that I have it. I have felt a pop once or twice when getting in the bed. Time will tell.
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Bought an Englander King mattress in mid March 2010. In April, I was trying to contact the store I bought it from – they went out of business. It took me several weeks to get a phone number to contact anyone. It’s now July and they finally contacted me. The mattress SAGS where we sleep. They said it doesn’t SAG ENOUGH to be a warranty problem and they think it is only a COMFORT problem. WHAT A WASTE OF $950.00!!!! NEVER AGAIN!
